Here is a quick Vlog about how we got from Bulgaria to Malaysia.

Here is a rough timeline of how it all happened:

Travel to Malaysia 

11/4

• Leave apt. at 10:45 AM
• Bus leaves Dupnitsa for Sofia at 11:50 AM
• Arrives in Sofia around 1:30pm (bus ride takes about 1 hour and 40 min)
• Meet up with Abiding Azar at 2:00 pm
• Travel to airport by subway at 3:00 pm
• Arrive at airport at 4:00 pm (terminal 2)
• Plane leaves Sofia for Istanbul at 9:15 pm (flight is approximately 1 hr. 35 min)
• Arrives in Istanbul at 10:50 pm
• 2 hour layover in Istanbul 

11/5

• Plane leaves for Kuala Lumpur at 1:30 am (10 hour flight!!)
• Arrive in KL at 5:20 pm 
• 7 hour layover in KL
• Bus leaves KL for Buttersworth at 1:00 am

11/6

• Arrives in Butttersworth at 7:00 am
• Ferry leaves for Penang at 7:15 am
• Ferry arrives at Penang at 7:45 am
• YWAM meets us at port 
• 10 min walk to YWAM base
• Arrive at base at 8:00 am
