I get on a plane and fly to ATL in 10 days!! Then 5 days after that I land in Tirana, Albania. Like what?!? Is this real life!!
I know, I know some of you may be thinking “Wait you have been here before, and then you didn’t go”. Well me too!! Me too…But people this is happening!! I’ve been thinking the same thing. I have been 10 days out from launch and then decided to defer to a later route. The difference about this time and last is everything. Last time I knew deep down in my heart that this wasn’t my time, I also felt terribly sick and was going to doctor appointment like every day frantically trying to figure out what was wrong with me. This time around I am not sick and I have so much peace about going!!
So every time the devil trys to uses that thought creeps in of being in the same place and then not going it gets tampered down by the overwhelming feeling of peace, desire, and understanding from te Holy Spirit!!
So what happens now. Well now I prepare. I prepare to leave, I prepare to pack, I prepare my body, mind, soul, and spirit. I’m preparing to leave by saying goodbye to so many different people. I’m preparing to pack by ordering things off of Amazon and leaving them in a corner of my room and then here soon I will attempt to start packing. I’m preparing my body by going on practice hikes, consuming less sugar, and less caffeine. I’m preparing my mind, soul, and spirit by increasing my quite time with the Lord, reading many different books and watching many different movies and videos and also by getting a lot of rest!!
What can you do? Some of you may be wondering what you can do to help? You can help in many ways. The biggest being by praying! Pray for peace, for enough time to do everything, and for protection while on the Race. The next thing you can do is share this blog. The more people who hear my story the more who will hear about God. And the last thing you can do is donate. I am $3,737 away from being fully funded and I would love to be fully funded before I leave. Which means God has 10 days to raise $3,737 and I believe he can do it.
